CSTS - Vijayawada is established to cater the man-power needs of Plastics and allied industries of A.P through its Long-Term Training and Vocational Courses sponsored by Govt. of A.P and Govt. of India. The centre is equipped with State-of-the-art infrastructural facilities in the field of Plastics Processing, Testing, Tool Room & Design.

The Institute offers highly specialized and practical oriented training in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology. These courses are particularly designed to ensure exposure of the candidate to practical problems involved in the relevant areas of study.

The Centre also offers Skill Development Training Programs in Plastics Processing / Injection Moulding / Extrusion / Tool Room & Design sponsored by various Central & State Govt. Agencies / Corporations viz. NSFDC, NBCFDC, PFC, NSKFDC, ONGC, APSSDC, APSCCFC, APBCCFC, APSMFC, AP Kapu Corporation and Engineering / Polytechnic / Degree colleges of A.P. The skill courses are in line National Skill Qualification File (NSQF) certified by NSDA.
